For day 8 of the 28 day challenge I wore a floral top with tassels on it and dark denim jeans to the Japanese Gardens. I knew I would be doing a lot of walking and I wanted to keep my outfit simple but cute. As you all know, I don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day (well I did get my mom a card and mini chocolates, but that’s as far as I go) so I decided to enjoy the gorgeous weather and go to a local garden. There were a few flowers in bloom but most of the rose bushes were not blooming yet. I can’t wait for spring time because it’s probably my favorite season. It’s such a happy and refreshing time of year. I feel like it’s a time of cleanse and renewal and discovery. I used this day as a time to reflect, be thankful, and focus my mind on my goals and my path.
I wanted to update you all on how I’m doing on the 28 day challenge so far. I feel like it’s been pretty easy. I haven’t ran out of ideas yet or different ways to put together what I already have in my closet. I actually have discovered that I have a lot more clothes than I realized. It really made me feel grateful for what I have. This challenge is becoming something deeper than mixing and matching. It’s making me realize what I have and ways that I can make people more aware and conscious of their blessings.
How are you all doing on your 28 day challenge? Are you finding it easy, difficult, or indifferent? I can’t wait to hear how it’s going!
xoxo, Wrk IT Girl
